This article provides information on how to set up the WordPress plugin.
Installation
First, verify that you are running the latest version of WordPress and WooCommerce.
The plugin requires at least WordPress 5.1 and WooCommerce 3.5 and has been tested to work with versions up to WordPress 6.1 and WooCommerce 7.0.1.
Automatic installation
- Download the plugin repository as a single zip file.
- Log in to your WordPress account as admin, navigate to the Plugins section in the menu, and click Add New.
- Click Upload Plugin, then click Choose File to select the zip file from your computer or type the plugin’s name.
- Install the plugin and activate it.
- Navigate to Plugin Settings and add necessary configurations.
Manual installation
- Unpack and upload the plugin folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
- Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
- Navigate to Plugin Settings and add necessary configurations.
Prerequisites
Before you start configuring, make sure you do the following:
- Whitelist the IP address of the website server. To do so, please send the list of IP addresses of your website server to [email protected], so that our team can whitelist them.
- Whitelist our IP addresses from https://api.centrobill.com/ips and https://epayment.centrobill.com/epayment/feed/ip_list.php
- Check the OpenSSL version (version 1.0.2n or newer is required).
- Add your website to Sites&Products in the Merchant portal and set the website type to Woocommerce. Follow this guide for instructions on how to do it.
TIPOne-time payments (deposits) require the WooCommerce plugin + the Centrobill Gateway plugin.
Recurring payments require the WooCommerce plugin + Centrobill Gateway plugin + WooCommerce Subscriptions.
Configuration
- Navigate to the Settings within the WooCommerce menu on the left-hand side.
- Open the Payments menu.
- Locate Centrobill Credit Cards and click Manage on its right. You will be automatically taken to Credit Cards in the Payments tab.
- In the Credit Cards tab, paste your auth key, provided by our Merchant Support team, into the Authentication key input field.
- Provide your site ID in the Site ID input field (you receive the site ID, once you have added your website on https://clients.centrobill.com).
- Configure the remaining settings according to your needs.
- Tick the Enable box in the remaining payment methods' tabs to enable them. Be sure to check with your Account manager if they have enabled this option for your account in Centrobill.
TIPAll payments with Cryptocurrency are always one-time payments. Blockchain technology doesn't support recurring payments (rebills, trials, free trials).
