UnionPay payment flows

UnionPay payments are processed through the Hosted Payment Page. Two transaction flows are available — which one applies to your account depends on the provider configured for your deal.

Contact the Merchant Success Team to confirm which flow is enabled for your account before integrating.

Card payment flow

The customer fills in their card credentials directly on the Hosted Payment Page, similar to a standard Visa or Mastercard transaction. To use this flow, set payment.selected to card in your Hosted Payment Page request.

One-click flow

After being redirected to the Hosted Payment Page, the customer either scans a QR code with their mobile app or is redirected to the provider's payment form to enter their card credentials. To use this flow, set payment.selected to unionpay_wallet in your Hosted Payment Page request.
